Well many thanks to you all for all your great feedback ,my mind is made up and i have told the seller that i will have it, roll on ,can t wait,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,just told the mrs its my 50th birthday prezzie,shock horror she smiled and agreed with me ,so she will have to get her purse out ,lol

Cheers chris ,good to know a little bit of history about it ,perhaps it was used by film crew to transport them two and fro to the KASKELOT Tall ship for filming

My friends own one of these, I helped repair it, I think its called a Lifeguard or something like that, I think they where built in England, I believe the company has since closed down as that's where me research ended.

It certainly looks like a Lifeguard - interlocked ali floor with an inflatable keel. Built well - heavy, we used to dive out of a big one in the late 80's. Good kit.

Had an old 8 ft yellow lifeguard tender once
used to be made at RUTHIN in WALES,, company is now called Ml lifeguard equipment ,not too sure if they were taken over by a larger marine safety company a few years back ,last i heard they still made inflatable boats and other specialised commercial/ military stuff.
