They are buffered against the ali rails you can see in the picture they are higher than the Ali floor by about the thickness of the mat ironically. Plus I have put a couple of pieces of gorilla tape each side. Positioning as I did is the obvious way in my Sib

Congratulations on getting Gorilla Tape to stick to something. I've never managed to get it to stick to ANYTHING.

You have to do it first time. It is the worlds best tape in my opinion I have mended many things with it. Have you perhaps got a duff roll

Have to agree with Alan on this. Most disappointing and I have tried more than one. The glue is excellent though.

Ok, I've yet to fit mine so was just curious. I read on another thread that someone fitted theirs and wedged them under the tubes. Maybe it's personal choice or down to the slight differences in ally floor design.

Cheers for explaining [emoji106]

That is indeed an option and I tried it but it tended to make mine bow up as the material is quite strong/thick

I have not used mine yet

I was thinking about this but have decided instead to order some folding boat seats which I'm going to screw to the seat planks on the Honwave. The Mrs was less than impressed with the comfort factor, or lack of, this summer so I'm going to set mine up something like this, instead of us all sitting on the tubes, a bare seat plank or a cold damp ally floor...

And on the Seats

Used up the bits of mat I had left over on the seats. Used double sided carpet tape to stick it down. Should help a bit

Looks good. I plan to do the same 👍
On a separate note, in the photo above of a T38 with 4 seats, it looks like each seat has a metal support going down the the floor. Surely this wouldn't be wise with an inflatable floor? Considering the force that would be concentrated in one place when bouncing up and down over choppy waters 😨
