Now that I've sussed out the mother in laws computerised sewing machine it ain't so bad.
Better than needle and thread.

The height I made mine suited my setup perfectly Steve.. I donít think and higher would have helps..unless it was raining . I had a great 10 mile run with the wind and waves on my tail..WOT..spray flying everywhere..but not a drop in the boat. No photos of the run and spray though..I tried but couldnít hold the camera steady

Hi Gurnard, good to know, i think my one has that sort of profile. Quite low, but im going to use a light weight nylon ripstop type material so think lower may be better. Ive been busy putting matting down to protect the air deck tonight so will be braving the sewing machine at the weekend.

Well its not quite finished but you get the idea. Need to sort the top support out as the blue bungees are a bit OTT.
It looks ok and feels like it will be ok just hope the nylon material is not too femme. Time will tell, if its not up to it then ive got a ready made template. Ive made a little seat for the bow out of ply and plan to secure the aux and keep it up there ( hopefully dry ).
