Long or short shaft??

Hey chaps,

I found a cheapish Bombard Aerotec (2004 - £500) which I may get if I can find a good engine. But what do I need - a long or short shaft? Do I need to consider anything else orther than is it long or short?

Thanks guys, any advice gratefully appreciated

PS
what does a good set of launch wheels go for nowadays?

Do you think 50Kgs is too much to manhandle? I'm not an ape but am young and fit lol

I fancy a newish engine for the peace of mind. I suppose one of those trolleys would help?

i had a yam 30 3 cylinder which i could get in and out the back of people carrier and on my bombard 420 on my own ,that was not to much of a problem , but i wouldnt want to carry it to far ideally do the whole lifting and setting up as close to the boot as poss , i am pretty sure that was around the 50kg mark
if u r wanting carry any distance think you would tire pretty quickly more the heavy awkward shape than just the weight

Yes! I'm not as young, fit and strong as I once was but more than 30KG is a PITA.
