If I already had a small plastic set on and they seemed OK at my launch locations I might not swap them until I had a problem.... but if I was buying new I'd get the ones with larger pneumatic tyres so I knew I'd only be buying/fitting once.

I launch in Essex where the plastic wheels wouldn't be easy... and on holiday in Scotland I've launched down cobble slipways and those with a drop off concrete where a rubber tyres really helps.

I think that is the prudent course to take. Time for me to stop being a penny pinching tight arse and get the best option as opposed to the 'they will do' option.

Don't forget to put the wheels up when you get in the water.

"Strange, it won't plane....."

Been there.

LOL, not expecting to ever get it on a plane with a slatted floor and 4HP wherever the wheels are...... unless you know different, as I have just about Zero experience with watercraft of any description.

Has anyone tried DaNard launching wheels? Danard Marine Products - Dinghy Wheels

Do you think they will work on dry sand or would I need balloon wheels for a beach launch?

Thanks.
