Launch wheels

Hi everyone,

On my new xpro 380 it doesn't have any launch wheels, I've been thinking of installing some or maybe buying a folding launch trailer so I wouldn't have to drill into the transom.

Any advise on which is best and if its fitting launch wheels the best way to do it?

Thank you

Morgan

Launching wheelset
FOR SALE

This is a Z1290 set of Zodiac Bombard launching wheels.

This launching wheel set is in as new excellent condition. The wheel set has had limited use since purchased new, and have only been used in salt water on one occasion and flushed with fresh water. The wheels are free running with no damage to bearings.

These are the correct height wheels to fit any Zodiac sports boat that does not have the added speed tubes underneath, i.e. it fits the standard height transom for the Touring, Classic Models, it also fits the Bombard Commando range. On these models there are stainless steel buttons pre-fitted to the boat in the factory and the U clips on these launching wheel kits slot into that button assembly as part of the strong connection.

The RRP is £229

Grab a bargain and improve that launching experience.

£130...ONLY.

pictures can be provided.

I've got both but I prefer to use the folding trailer. I've found that with the transom wheels if you keep them on the transom they add more weight to back of the boat so I still want to leave them behind. I've also replaced the wheels with non-pneumatic golf trolley ones as I've found that it can be a real bitch at times getting the leg/wheel combo into the down position when on the water.

Ok thank you for that, think I'll look into buying a launch trolley as the boats a bit heavy for one person to pick up!

I wasn't too sure about the transom wheels, especially having to screw into the transom.

Thank you again
