Or how about a cheap jump start pack? Maplin have a Portable Jump Starter and Air Compressor for £19.99 - I use one of these with an LVM inflator and it works fine.

John just what I am looking for, portable and "Check in" friendly.
Just need male + / - connectors and wired to a cirgarette socket.
