How to identify what valves fitted?

I recently got an inflatable SIB, unknown brand and it has a leaking valve.
The valve doesn't seem to be returning fully and lets all the air out.
The valve on the other side that works fine if i push it in and give it a slight turn it stays in the open position, I've tried turning the leaking valve, but it still don't return fully.
I want to remove the valve and replace if need be, but i don't have a clue what valves are fitted. I don't want to buy a valve spanner if its going to be wrong.
It will be ok once the valve is out because i can take it to my local shop and get them to match it up.
Is it simple to identify what valves i have so i can get the right spanner.
I can supply pictures if need be.
Thank you

I'd guess that it's some model of Halkey Roberts, but I dare say that there will be someone more knowledgeable along to confirm/deny.

Though, if it were me, I wouldn't worry about identifying it just to buy a spanner. I'd make one by filling slots in the end of a piece of plastic pipe.
