Engine hrs or hrs spending on boat / Sea ?

It is big difference for me. I'm lucky. Had trip to Greece 1 month and Croatia 1 week.
If I check engine computer it be probably between 80 and 100
But we used boat every day. But we use it as "taxi".
Go to some place (for example trip Ag.Andreas - Plytra in Greece 50 km one way) park in marina and go and explore castle ....

Or go to some desert island, anchor and explore island ... So I can say that we spent a little more than 20 days on the water.

OK probably each of us likes more drive boat so I can say 80 hrs of driving.

I launch up at the top of the loch at a private slip. There isn't a public slip.

Ditto... About 30 hours since I bought my SIB at Christmas, curtailed only by the shackles of work, family members (50% of whom would rather canoe) and weather...

I believe you can not access Shiel Loch by boat from Tioram Castle area as River Shiel enters Tioram/Loch Moidart it gets very narrow with rapids and a drop.

But there is a launch ramp 3 miles away from Tioram Castle at Acharacle (Shiel Loch). Tioram also has a launch but not sure if it's public and it's tide dependent.

I'm sure others here can answer this question much better than I as I'm a bit green to this area.

I can not wait to have the opportunity to travel around this area by rib, it's absolutely beautiful. Very much looking forward to it one day making a long trip out of it. It looks like it will have to be for me to cover all the area I want to see.

I managed to double my time on the water to day bringing my total time on the water from five hours to ten hours. I had three outings this summer and the first two had loads of mechanical problems but to day was good with only cables to adjust

Tsm

God it was good to be on the water again

Summer, winter much the same here. On my rib I've put just put 95hrs since the last engine service 4 months ago. I also drive a friends dive rib who runs a dive charter business when he needs to be in the water so I dare say I'm doing 300 per year.

I've got an obsessive 15 yr old daughter who wants to be on the water all the time, she recently gained sponsorship from divers world and is currently away with a documentary film maker who is making a film on female divers. So no doubt my hours on the water will stay high untill she leaves home.
