Honwave T35AE

I see that this has supports for 2 seats but in the pics it only ever has 1 seat. Do you know how many seats are supplied as standard

Only 1 seat supplied as standard.
To buy a genuine aftermarket 2nd Honwave seat is silly money.
A lot of people make their own.

Just make your own, paint it gloss, and lighter than supplied one.

Snap!

T40AE - check
Made my own from 18mm marine ply - check
Painted it white - check

Seeing as my home baked seat isn't quite as nice to look at as the Honwave one I hide it with the seat bag.

Going to give this a go as the missus and I were out from Largs on Monday in what constitutes bumpy sea for a SIB and the constant battering of her, ahem, derriere on the front aluminium seat of my Excel SD365 bent it quite badly out of shape in the middle.

Now reminds me of those cheap Ikea bookshelves I should never have bought.

I've just bought a T35AE1 and it can only facilitate one seat, towards the front. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think the AE2 had factory fitted webbing at the rear for a second seat but this wasn't the case with the earlier model.

Your guys must have the AE2, revised version then.

If you Google Images for T35AE1 you'll find the rear seat webbing is absent.

They also changed the grab handle design and some of the styling.

I decided to pick up a genuine Honwave seat for my T40 in the end. The one I made worked well enough but I wanted to keep the look original and also so that I could add some proper seats like so...
