Honwave Speed

What speed would a 5hp Honda engine push me along at?

I weigh 65kg and there wouldn't be much stuff on board maybe 10kg.

The inflatable is 2.4 metre long and about 25kg.

whilst not exactly the same as what you've got, my avon R310 (with heavy wooden floorboards and hypalon tubes) with mariner 2hp pushed me and 2 very large adults at 5 knots WOT.

See this topic below, you might get it to plane in which case speed will be much better than displacements speeds (6 kts or so).

I could just about plane a T27 with a 4hp 2 stroke and achieved the eye watering speed of 11mph.I would think yours will be slightly faster.

A tiller extension is a good idea to get your weight forward and stay in control.
