Hi I have just bought an Aquaquad ute with a tohatso 70hp outboard , I was hoping to

Your boat was imported in a container load of Aquaquads we brought in in 2008.

Your boat was sold to another dealer so I don't know any of the history thereafter, however there was also a red boat with the same hull but a different seating and console arrangement, which we rigged up with a Suzuki 50 4-Stroke and took this video on a private lake we hired for the day.

From memory it was a good little hull, considering the actual hull is less than 4m long. I think I took her over to Cowes from Southampton on a bit of a rough day, and whilst we got there a bit wet, it handled it fine.

We taught a few RYA Level 2 courses on these boats back in 2008 and 2009.

From memory they were pretty light, had good fuel consumption and were pretty exciting.

I knew a guy in the Isle of Mann who had one for fishing and liked it very much. It was stable at anchor and covered the ground quickly so getting to fishing marks was a breeze.
I have lost contact with him so don't know if he still has it. Sorry, can't be more help.

Thanks for replying to Roflhat Bartiny , haven't been able to get it out on to the water yet looking for a launch site close to Telford where I can take it for a quick spin . Otherwise I have hols booked in Abersock in May and two weeks where I normally go Solver where i usually take my Zodiac , it's just getting the right time and place . Thanks for your interest .
