Hi all

For engine set up you could look for posts from Locozodiac hasn't posted in a while worth reading though

It looks like you have your engine raised on the transom with a block. Your prop might not be low enough in the water.

I had the same problem on a sg124 achilles with a yamaha 15hp. I was using a wooden block because I thought the motor was to low and it would slip just like yoursome when I had more than 2 people in the boat. I removed the block and it it runs much better now even though it looks like it sits too low. I can't explain it. I'm picking up a 25hp for it this week so it will be back to drawing board.

I had the same problem myself. I Called the Saturn distributor. Surprisingly they told me I didn't even need a gauge with a hand pump. Just fill until it was hard to the touch. On the floor put all your weight on the pump handle. The tubes have a safety valve if they are over inflated. Even says it on there web site. Still I use a gauge, but not afraid to give the floor and keel over the max limit. He told me the suggested pressures shown in the web site are for use with an electric pump, then top off with the hand pump. The boat is useless unless your pressure is high enough.

I have a 15 ft SIB with aluminum floor, been experiencing the same type of feeling when on the river. The company I bought the boat from actually contacted me a few days ago asking if I have been experiencing this (he has got a couple complaints from other owners). Anyways, he said he might have a solution to the problem which entails replacing the inflatable keel with a larger one. He has sent me one so I will fit it on and update.
