Hamble Launch Advice

I've read reports on Boat Launch about the slips at Swanwick Shore Rd and Lands End Rd on the Hamble but everything relates to RIBs.

Anyone have any constructive views to either or any other options in the same area?

Mainly concerned about parking and water accessibility as I don't have launch wheels. I do have a wife though who will help carry to the shore or bottom of slip.

Big trailered boats better at low tide. Small boats whenever. Car park is limited at shore road

Don't go off the side of the slip in the motor

Warsash has a public slip by the pub, free parking close by in village car park. At this point you are end of River start. Bit slippery at times but for a small boat/sib very easy and does get crowded on weekends BHs

Not too bad but not steep probably about fifty feet ish

Another place I'd like to explore.

£16 to launch and park even with a SIB, its not on a trailer.

But is Lepe not just as accessible for Beaulieu River?

I've launched my SIB from Lepe many times. Pull up in the coach bay and unload/assemble the park the car in the adjacent carpark. River B is easily accessible from here.

It can be quite long at low tide but is so wide with good access you can drive right down to the waters edge and unload. Only high tide makes the slip narrow but even then wide enough for two or three to launch/recover at the same time.

Two car parks, one right next to the slip which can get busy if you are not early and another 100m away.
