Hang on... I thought it was a yachtline not a cadet?

Does it have a solid base with tubes attached or a soft base with tubes attached and wooden slatted floor?

Its the Yachtline, with the multi piece roll up wood floor (design nicked from Avon).

They dont make the standard YL any more, only the Yachtline Delux. I think the OP has gone looking at the Zodiac site and found the nearest he could.

I think Shiny is right, probably PVC rather than Hypalon.

So I got that glue! boy, you have to be quick, but it is awesome!
I had four punctures and they have all now been sealed..
Ive just got to find a seat for it and maybe a little outboard.

one thing; there is a bung in the floor of the forward hull, inside the boat.. its for a chamber thats shaped like an arrow... I tried pumping air in but it just comes straight out again so is it for ballast?
to form a kind of hull shape?

No its for air.

Sounds like the 1 way valve is gone on that. You need to pump it to a much higher pressure than the toobs.

Someone will be along shortly...

You are right, yes, it is to form a nice little bump in the underside of the floor. It's called the keel tube. It gets pumped up to around 240 millibar / 3.4 psi same as the rest of the tubes.

On my boat, the valves have a little green knob down in the center (see picture):

they can be pushed in and turned to "inflate", where it holds the air when you stop pumping, or "deflate" where it lets the air right out. Perhaps the valve for this has something similar?
