F-Rib360 with 150kg load 20hp 4s on a .5m chop GPS reading of 28knts and same boat/load with 15hp 2s 23knts results done twice so you're not far off with your estimate.

Folding RIB first impressions part one

Hey Biggy,
That's a great turn of speed, well done. Never bettered 21 knots on either our Zodiac or Aerotec with a Suzi DF20 (9.25 x 10" stock prop) on the back, despite countless trim/height configurations.
Also see on your profile you have an F-RIB 375(S) - not familiar with the 's' suffix.

The 'S' is to signify "single skin floor"
The 375 used to have a twin skin, the inner floor being flat.
The new ones have the same stepped hull as the 275, 330 & 360

Hi all. For anyone that may be looking for more information on FRIBs in the US, don't hesitate to visit www.fourseas.us
The quality of the product is very high and they run beautifully in open ocean conditions. I ran one outside of Dana Point this weekend and it was a blast.

I see the famed Frib is now for sale. I'm sure someone (Merseyboy??) predicted this scenario ages ago & got banished for his trouble😏

Yup - Merseyboy pretty much nailed it - I don't believe the FRIB in question got much water time. Merseyboy wasn't "banished" BTW - he's still posting..

I'm glad no-one has kept track of the five SIBs and 4 OBs we've had over the period Philpot owned his Frib.... and how at the time I keenly championed the purchase of each only to sell on in X months/years with a justification of why they'd turned out not to suit.

Aye, but you're an LP as opposed to a one hit wonder😄
