sikaflex

The last tube I bought was well within date and unopened but the sikaflex would not come down the spout. Having cut the tube open, found it was set inside.
Expensive lesson there.

try polysulphide comes in a tube and only goes hard in the replacable nozzle
much cheaper around £5 a tube use with a sealant gun £2
method always warm the tube up in a bucket of hot water before use then it will flow out like cream

I used Sika flex 192, and will do again when I mount my aux bracket.

There is a thread here... http://rib.net/forum/showthread.php?t=34763 on how to try and stop it going off so quickly. I will be trying some of the methods.

Cheers,
Geoff

I like your style Astra. I have just shown ur photos to my wife to explain that I should be allowed to work on my rib and it's sib tender inside the house.

Unfortunately it went down like a fart in a spacesuit etc.

Anyway doesn't matter now till the end of the year as my boat is back on it's mooring yeeeeeeeeee haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Cute pussy BTW

Ian
