Excel 365 hd floor noise

We occasionally experience a loud cracking noise emanating from the transom floor retaining batten/floor joint when pushing on hard through chop. No visible movement or long term damage noted. We also sometimes hear the pvc hull slapping against the underside of the alumin. aft floorboard.
This is running a max. rated 20hp motor, although well under max. transom weight, and as previously stated only occurs when pushing really hard and bouncing through severe chop!
Our 3.5m alumin. floor Zodiac is always inflated to max pressure and topped up to maintain 0.24 bar after 15 mins on water etc. The floor, keel and tubes are as tight as a drum, but it still needs to flex to dissipate the stresses generated in hard use.
