Yep, the next question is who made it? I don't know is the easy answer, I believe it was one of the racing teams. The guy that I bought it off really didn't know a lot, he had a 70 Yam that was too short, it cost me a bit to set up correctly but is fantastic for fishing and crabbing in the local area.
I use the big boat if I want to travel (zodiac Hurricane).

First post here and soon to be owner of a FC470. My first question is: What size trailer should I get for the FC470? Is a 12' trailer sufficient for a 15.5' boat?

Are you leaving the motor & tanks on the boat while towing? if you are, I would go for a longer trailer with lots of support under the transom.

Agreed, and I would suggest going one step further and would have the skeg supported with the motor up.
