I was measuring up the stairwell today to see if I could fit a rib up then out the back patio. Seems most ribs deflate to 2.8m which might be a little too long. Width and depth of transom would be ok.

That's the one I have in my lounge room. As mentioned before it planed one up with a 3.5hp and flies with a 15hp. Only used it a few times but pretty happy with it. The build quality is quite acceptable. Kept up with my Zodiac rib with a 20hp.

They didn't supply me with a HIN that I was able to register in Australia so I had to get a Boatcode. Hope they got that sorted now as it is a hassle and an extra expense.

I think I paid just under $1000 for it about 2 years ago so price probably about right.

As with most sib's from what I have read, the pressures make a huge difference and the pump that came with it has no gauge so factor that into your purchase price.

May not be an air bed but good enough for drunk friends to sleep in, sort of...

Ours is an air deck model. Yes you can stand on it. It is surprisingly rigid but not the same as timber or aluminium. Last time I used it was New Years Eve maybe 2 years ago so the memory is a little hazy. A friend borrowed it and ran straight into our hard boat at full throttle (3.5hp). It just bounced off without a mark on either boat. Tough little boats. Also was very good at pushing the bow of the Maritime boat to make it change direction, but that is another story.

If you ever get to Sydney, the offer still stands to try it.
