duckbill drainers

Hi guys just wondering if anyone would know where in the UK i can get these from, going by the net they seem to be scarce.? they measure 25mm dia 75mm long and 40mm wide any help would be appreciated.

last time i saw somthing like and about that size was on a very old twin hose demand valve /diving regulator ,they were the valves in the mouth peice and on the outlet exhaust valve parts
you could perhaps try a diving shop ,

They use them on the RNLI outboards on the exhaust, we call them fishtails.

found the modern equivalent, for all future knowledge. Tempo Marine Products bought thru Chandleryworld, see below

Automatic Drain Plugs

• Unique "flapper" that automatically drains water when the boat is under way • Provides a water tight seal when the boat slows or stops • Flexible neoprene plug inserts in the transom drain hole • Fits all standard 1" diameter drains on transoms up to 2-1/4" thick

Don't leave a boat afloat without a bung with those things, a tiny piece of debris will allow water to come in slowly - use a bung!

thanks for the advice cookee, i have anotherwater inlet problem at present that i need to find these will help get rid of the excess water ballast!! until i find the little leek

Hi jonny, i think you will get some of them from bill highams marines, iv seen something like that on the back of evinrude 70 they fit on to the two small hole,s
at back of engine,if i,m right, give them a ring 01617907678 ask for simon or bill
