Could someonepost a photo of airdeck

Hi,

I have another thread where I'm trying to describe damage to one of the airdeck valve surrounds on a 2003 Zodiac Futura MKII FR boat that I am contemplating buying.

I'm having trouble describing where the damage is, and I cannot find a high resolution photo of an airdeck in order to point out exactly where the damage is.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could take a photo of the front half of their airdeck and post it here. You might end up saving me $5,000!!

Thank you,

Vince

I would say that if you have cold feet about purchasing a used zodiac futura FR Mark II with a valve that makes you nervous for $ 5,000 , by all means pass!!! There are far better deals on more durable SIBs to be had! Keep your eyes on on the North America - Used RIBs for sale section. There have been some high end SIBs advertised on there (such as a zodiac FC-470) at reasonable prices.

Hi Prairie_Tuber,

Thank you for your reply. The $5,000 also include a 2005 Mercury 25hp, a good quality trailer, all the necessary safety gear, two covers, a storage seat, high-pressure pump with autoset, and some other goodies, so I think it's a decent deal.

I just want to understand a bit better what exactly the damage I'm seeing is. Actually, I looked at the zodiac FC-470 you mentioned, and there is a photo I could probably use.

Thanks!

Vince

Sorry. I was thinking boat alone. That sounds pretty reasonable then.
