Cleaning question Toob shine or rib revivor?

Hi,

recently bought an inflatable boat and it needs a good clean. I am told it is an ex M.O.D boat so as you can imagine it is well used and it also has a small amount of paint on one side that needs cleaning off. This is my first inflatable boat and I don't know that much about them. Im not sure if it is pvc or hypalon( Is there an easy way to tell?)

apparantly toob shine and rib rivivor are suitable for any inflatable. I was just wondering are they any good? is one better than the other? they both seem quite expensive.
