Chart plotter on a Sib

Awesome. I need to do similar as not always the easiest to see in bright sunlight.

It is really fun having a plotter. Like you say, its nice to see your routes, know where you've drifted to know why and where you are catching, distance speed etc. Will put some of my photos up soon.

Agreed it's a real handy piece of kit for aiding your fishing, navigation and from a safety aspect - being able to give your exact position.
My hudl battery lasted just over 4 hrs on 100 percent brightness.
So I did need my back up charger.
I ended up using some white tack to stick over the small incision I made to the waterproof case.
It plugged the small gap around the edges where the charging lead passed thru the case well.
Very sticky and resistant to water.
Got some work to do on the Yammie motorbike for an up upcoming Highland tour/ camp so the Sib diy improvements will be getting overlooked for now.
Scratching my head anyway as what else I can do to upgrade/personalise the sib.
Gonna need a bigger boat - but not for a couple of years.
