Bravo 4 Alu Stirrup Pump?

Well, my £7 camping shop stirrup pump finally snapped after 6 years faithful use:

http://www.rib.net/forum/f50/bravo-b...tml#post407328

I probably should not have forced it to give 11.5 psi but it held on well for a long time and graciously decided to fail the day after we returned from a week's SIB holiday.

Considering the Bravo 4 Alu as it seems one of the few actually rated to 11+ psi/

Anyone using one?

Can't see your link. Is this the one you're thinking of Max? I like the idea of the pump action change at higher pressures and what's not to like under £20.

Bravo 4 Red Stirrup / Hand Pump - Hand Pump - Discount Marine Chandlery and Sailing Equipment. Bargain Boat Spares and Clothing

Personally a long term potential problem with my back means I can't lean in the way you need to using a stirrup type, I have to stand more upright. My HP elec Bravo is just holding on but the main on/off switch has failed in the on posn and it now won't select or pump above 680mbar so I have to top off with the foot pump on the floor. I think I'll do this year then look around for what to get next next.

I picked up one of these http://pacermarine.co.uk/product/qui...adaptors-gauge recently along with a clam seal

Bit of an impulse buy and seems somewhat large, thought I might be able to stow/hide it with thin bungee cord under the seat

Got the air floor up to 0.9 could've gone a bit more but only just. Has an inline pressure and worked quickly, still a large item in a small boat!
