This project was 5 days getting the new PVC cut and glued down with HH-66 PVC glue and all shined up with 303 aerospace protectant.

The entire bottom of hull and tubes were done, some minor wrinkles but over all it came out good.

The PVC added under boat is 1200+ denier, very strong and rated for extreme use even to -55 degrees, and with Zodiac/Bombard 1100 denier strognam PVC the bottom is around 2200+ denier strong.

What looks like air bubbles in the pics above is mostly where the glue was thicker, the glue has a fast setup time and using thin coats it dries to fast so I used a thicker layer of glue so it would not dry before getting the material down, also doing it in the sun on black material added to faster drying of glue, it was not so easy of a project, I would probably not do this again but pay a profession to do the job.

Pics of jockey seat, 6 gal transom gas tank, Atlas electric 4 inch setback transom jack plate and 50 hp Tohatsu.

Jockey seat, gas tank and transom jack plate have been bought and ready to install, "the outboard motor has not yet been bought".

Not sure what color to paint the jockey seat/console and also changing the fabric on seat to match..

Good job! Having the thick hull will help the handling some.

It's a bit late now but it's not necessary to put the adhesive together while the glue is still wet. The process is; do your glueing and allow it to flash off. Before bringing the surfaces together, use a brush to wipe over the glue with MEK just in front of the glue area to be pressed down. This method gives you more control because the flashed off glued surfaces won't readily adhere if they accidentally come into contact.

I am not a expert at gluing but did read up on applying HH-66 and watch a few videos, maybe cause the black PVC and doing it in full sun made the glue setup very fast, I thought about thinning it with MEK but decided to apply the glue with thicker coats to avoid over drying, it work out and its very strong but not as smooth as I would have liked but its the bottom of the boat and no one can see it, also doing large sheets vs small patches is a lot harder to apply and getting it down smooth..

Now to get the boat flipped over and onto the trailer for the topside rigging..

That's going to be quite an outfit... should punch along nicely (probably an understatement) with that 50hp!

Got some help today and she is back on the trailer, just thought I would show you all some of my custom stacker trailer pics, it carry's my Jeep Wrangler on bottom and Bombard C4 on top and I pull it with my motorhome so I can have all my toys when traveling.

The trailer is setup with a electric winch to raise the boat for jeep to ride on trailer and lower down and use trailer as a boat trailer to tow behind Jeep to launch boat.

The old pics are correct but the recent ones are sideways, it shows up correct on my computer, has my old IPhone 5 gone bad ??

Looks very good! How much does that engine weigh? Will you keep it on the boat while towing it?

Yes the motor will remain on the boat but with supports while towing, Tohatsu says it weights 209 lbs and transom is rated for 235 lbs.

The support is a good idea. Yes, I had a C4 for a bit, it was rated for up to 50hp and 109kg if I remember correctly. At 95kg, you have a reasonable margin and it is a bit too heavy to be lifting on and off regularly.

Does the boat have pressure relief valves fitted?

Probably want to be careful with that weight on a set back jack plate though, that will put more stress on the transom

Very true, I missed that. I guess the weight should be taken into account too.

Yes the weight and 4 inch set back will cause more pressure on transom and I am going to be mounting support bars from transom to floor and a extra support bar while towing.

Just the 3 fill air valves that it came with, not sure if they are also pressure relief, does it need it ??

I had C5 for a while and it was been fitted with valves which had a wee gauge integrated into the top, very useful and I missed them in my next boat. Probably not worth paying lots for but worth keeping your eyes open in case you come across some.

As far as I can remember, my C4 did not have pressure relief valves fitted.

I am not sure, I just thought that if it is hot and sunny where you are and given that the boat is black, they may be needed. Never had an issue with sun here... unfortunately.
