The transom is designed for a single engine and is cut down in the centre to suit a single short shaft outboard. It would therefore require modifying for a twin engine set up. You would also have to be very careful not to exceed the 109kg weight limit.

Personally I wouldn't bother as it would be very time consuming to set up and pack away for each use and you would probably end up with a trailer fairly quickly. Buying and maintaining 2x 20hp outboards would also be expensive.

The Honwave mentioned sounds like a good idea.

Iíd also say a Honwave. Air floor every time if you want to deflate to transport.

Or look out for an air floor Zodiac like mine or an Aerotec as the ultimate portable setup.

Donít bother with twin engines. You will only add weight and the transom is designed for one engine.

I had a C4 for a couple of years and it went very well with a Mariner 25 4 stroke on the back.

How did you find the wooden keel performed compared to the more common inflatable keels, assuming you have experienced both?
