Sand the wood and degrease with MEK.
Prepare a small amount of the Bostik Vinycol 1520 (75 ml), mix.
Add an equal amount of MEK (75 ml), bringing your total pot to 150 ml. Mix.
The solution will be VERY thin.
Apply 3 coats to the wood, allowing 5 min between coats.

After the final coat, wait a minimum of about 2 hours (or until the next day ideally) for the glue to dry completely.

If you feel the surface of the wood after the solution is cured, you'll notice that it will have a smooth feel to it. That's what you want.

Then simply do a standard layup. Coat of glue on the transom, coat of glue on the PVC, wait a few minutes...repeat 3 times, then press it together and burnish it in place.

No, we haven't had the right weather-conditions yet (still cold and wet).

Hello Piotr !
I have the same problem at my 2001 Zodiac, only partial detachments in the transom side. It has been some time since the last post ... I would like to ask if you have managed to stick and what materials did you use ? Thank you
