Boat Name decal

Any reason why I can stick a boat name decal straight on to one of the tubes???

depends on what the adhesive is ,some stickers peal off easy best way is to make letters from the same material as the boat .

I've found that most plastic (i.e. vinyl) lettering doesn't like staying on hypalon. The hypalon has a bit of stretch, and the plastic doesn't. Unfortunately, this also includes the registration stickers that my state issues every couple of years.
