I'll get some better photos in due course.
As I was advised by some ribneters I packed my motor up around 18mm and moved it out 2 notches on the transom angle adjustment and wow what a difference, transome splash virtually eliminated, it was a bit choppy at wot as the transom wheels kept getting unhooked and tipping over so I'll try some straps to keep them in place.
Hmmm I was wondering about a frib but now I have to say oh err should I look at an aerotec,
Would a 9.8 tohatsu be big enough to push one along?

Sky looks good but the bloody wind forecast over the next week is annoying.

I use a an 'R' clip to lock my wheels up or down 50p fix

Great pics... thanks for posting. Is that low tide image from the balcony your holiday place or the pub?

>>>Hmmm I was wondering about a frib but now I have to say oh err should I look at an aerotec, Would a 9.8 tohatsu be big enough to push one along?

In truth an Aerotec works far better with a 15hp+ but an Frib hull is so efficient I think something like a 330 version would go well with your Tohatsu.... far better than an Aerotec would anyway.

Main thing though is what aspect are you trying to improve over your current SIB?

Very nice outlook... it's the type of location/sea proximity we try and go for with our yearly stay in Scotland.

Re the SIB/Frib choices do you want something bigger... better ability in the waves or something else?

.....It's a well trodden Track you're on...Best of luck with the Journey!
Still plenty of Fun to be had with a SIB along the way

I had a nice trip up to the Sloop yesterday evening at Bantham - what was that massive party on the beach at Bigbury - must be right below where you are staying?
