Best Tyre/SIB Inflator

Not too sure whether to put this in the Cars section or the SIB section, so put it in both.

I'm looking for a decent electric Tyre pump for the 4x4 and whilst browsing the web had the idea of combining a pump that could inflate a SIB and pump up tyres.

Obviously a tyre needs high pressure and a SIB/Tubes need high volume, can one pump do both?

Is there such an air pump that can be carried in the boot?

Hmmm so I've answered in both!

At 55l/min that compressor has about 10% of the flow rate compared to a Bravo while in the turbine stage and 30% of the flow rate of a Bravo in the piston stage... so it will be rather slow.

I put off buying a Bravo for a while but now I've forked out the £100 don't regret it at all... designed to do the job for a SIB and does it well.

Unless you are regularly inflating 4x4 tyres from flat a £10 Tesco tyre pump is probably OK.... no doubt though that one you linked is a nice bit of kit for tyres.

we splashed out & bought the Bravo BST 12hp which is not cheap but excellent. It allows you to set the exact pressure & inflates in minutes would highly recommend.

I've decided that finding a pump for both is going to be impossible without major expense. So I'll buy a pump for the car which I was going to anyway and use a hand pump for the SIB (till I get fed up).

Thanks for your help!
