I brought a Avon typhoon t2-70 earlier in the summer for my boy who just turned 13 as he had been enjoying the sevylor inflatable rowing dinghy we brought him so I decided to get him something that could take an outboard. I found a Avon t2-70 that was ideal on eBay, I picked it for the colours (a change from the boring standard marine grey) I wanted to get him a slat floor boat to start off his journey into inflatable boating/ribs as I had started with those all those years ago (I still like them!) the boat was in poor condition but I gave him a 2.5hp outboard to use and he loved it I then put on a 5hp and noticed the transom was coming unglued so one thing lead to another and I ended up doing a full restoration. I will post up some more info and pics on this restoration in a while when I work out how to upload more pics from my iPad lol the only way I've found to post my pics is linking from another forum I posted the project on.
