Avon parts - USA

Does anyone here have a good source for Avon parts in the USA? I need to get some stringers for the floorboards on an old S400 I picked up. I may try and make them myself, but if there are some readily available I may go that route.

Also does anyone have an email address for a contact at Avon? I wanted to ask them a few questions about this boat.

Thanks,
Greg

Avon is now a part of the Zodiac group. I would check through some of the contacts/dealers listed on this website with regard to getting Avon parts. The only problem is that anything ordered through Zodiac's milpro division will be outrageously expensive.

What specific parts are you in need of? Perhaps one of our British friends might be able to connect you with a source for those parts (new or used) at more reasonable prices.

You might try calling

Tim's Zodiac Marine
45570 Industrial Pl
Fremont, CA 94538
(510) 438-9881

If that's too far from you (Fremont is in the south-east SF Bay Area), you might look up a Zodiac Dealer who is a bit more local (though I suppose it doesn't matter much as parts will likely be shipped from Europe.)

Can you post up some pictures of those floorboards? If you will be getting some wood stringers milled, purpleheart is the ideal wood species for this application.

Expensive, though. MacBeath has it for something like $65/10 board feet in random board sizes.
