Anyway the site admin could create a Zodiac FC470 subforum?

I think there would be a lot of utility in having one. Right now there is no place on the net that has an area dedicated to these boats, and there are now thousands of people picking these up surplus. They make great dive boats, fishing boats, tenders, etc.

I've run across a great deal of difficulty finding parts, info, maintenance procedures etc. For instance there could be a for sale section for parts, a maintenance section for how to's, etc.

They have similar sites for motorcycle models, car model's, etc. Why not the zodiac f470?

Just hoping that this would be something that could be done. I'd be happy to help out.

Thanks

As a general rule we don't do sub forums for specific brands or boat types. Most of what interests you will interest other inflatable and rib owners and so is better in the generic forums. Half your maintainence issues will be engine related which then means we would need engine specific sub fora etc too.
Sub fora here generally come about once there are so many posts on a common theme that they make sense rather than speculatively.

Contra to common belief you do sometimes talk sense, unique in a man from the 'East' usually but not at this time of the year, there's seemingly another two floating about somewhere in need of a plotter..............
