As I am new(ish) here I think I will wind my neck in and shut up!
I still stand by my comments, but didnt realise they provoked such a strongly negative reaction by some, so, suitably chastised I will not mention them again!
I gues they are like marmite, you love them or loath them!

Take no notice  there is a lot of Land Rover Bashing on here all started by Mr P a long time ago  I might start a show us your Rig thread with Land Rovers only

I've been meaning to show to post this piccie for a while. I took it with my phone whilst shopping at Wickes.
Seeing as this thread started with Jeep stuck in sand, it seemed appropriate to show a piccie of how to get sand into a Jeep (and yes, before he drove off he had emptied the whole 850kg bag into the Jeep).

Think somewhere along the lines of 75% of all defenders ever made are still on the road today. They are really uncomfortable and noisy but I love them. Mine attached:-)

shingle and deep pebbles have gotta be the worst, I find speed on approch the only option with that terrain, even the tractor will dig in.
