Hi All
My first post. Has anyone had experience of Velocity marine inflatables. They seem a good price, but you can not tell the quaility from a photo. Any help would be great.
Roger

Hi

I was wondering if £600 for a 3.3 metre inflatable NEW was to cheap to be any good?

Roger - I've merged both your posts / theads as essentially you are asking the same thing - you'll be more likely to get a helpful response if you share as much info as possible.

I am guessing you are referring to these:

Brand New 3.6m Velocity Marine Inflatable Boat | eBay UK

A quick price comparison suggests you are in the same ball park as the cheaper Seapro range (not the HD range)

I've been searching lots for circa 3 - 3.5m SIBS and there is an endless choice out there. New, going up £100 gets you a better made/featured and much lighter airdeck Prowave or Excel, another £100 and you can get a new Honwave or similar.

Or go second hand for the best deal - loads out there for sale which will likely be much better quality than a £600 ply deck:

Inflatable Quicksilver Airdeck 340 Boat (3.4m) on eBay (end time 11-Jun-11 20:33:14 BST)

Zodiac inflatable rib 3.1 with 15hp Johnson Outboard on eBay (end time 12-Jun-11 19:37:05 BST)

Quicksilver Inflatable Boat 310 Airdeck on eBay (end time 09-Jun-11 20:40:10 BST)

Quicksilver 310 Airdeck Inflatable Dinghy on eBay (end time 12-Jun-11 17:20:02 BST)
