5m humber inflatable with large hole

Hi I bought a 5m humber off ebay everything is in one piece only thing wrong is a bit of oxidisation on the tubes and the floor boards need re varnishing I am very happy with it included in the sale was an identical Sib complete with boards but this one has a large hole on the rear of one of the tubes where the leafield a7 valve should be the hole is about 250mm in diameter I've been quoted £330 to repair it just wondering if it would be a very difficult job to do I am presuming it would need a patch on the inside first then a patch on the outside then a new valve fitting I all ready have the material and glue just have to buy a new valve i do have some pictures but not sure how to add them any advice would be much appretiated

Thanks Colin

£330 sounds way over the top, your description suggests a <£100 repair.

I can advise further if you can post the pictures (sorry don't know how to myself) or email them to me sales@nwri.co.uk

We are based in Chorley close to M61 J8, you are welcome to bring it in for advice or repair.
