its something that id never really thought about being new and what i thought a small boat etc.
you'll be glad to know we received 4 Seago life jackets yesterday , we decided to keep the vests for when were boarding.
it makes sense

Although it seems folk on this site are pretty 'tough', I can only presume it's the years of experience that they are willing to give that makes them like it.

one thing that really winds me up, maybe just an age thing , is that when buying either new life jackets or spare re-arming sets ( yes, one has gone off when out on the rib so we each carry a spare now just in case ) why are the dates always so close to expiring, I never seem to get one anywhere the the manufactures recommended maximum expiry date, or is it just me n my bad luck

I suspect you are buying from the wrong people. You need someone who turns over enough stock....

not sure that's the problem, I've used large well known websites and still had similar problems

Needs a face to face interaction. Faceless customer service means no-one cares about shelf life.

If can't go into a shop, phone and chat to someone and make them remember there is a human bean at the end of the transaction.
