Great report and pics... we only managed a miserly 60+ miles (and no beer) over the same number of days in August operating just south of Crinan.

Interested to see you have the same age/version Mariner as my 20hp on our GRP boat. They are a cracking engine and go amazingly well for their age.

I was wondering if this happened yet ? , I am in the planning stages of a similar "Camping - Rib" trip in the N.W Scotland next summer (June/July) , No firm dates or places as yet. (25/26th june will coincide with the RB12 round britain race at kyle of lochalsh)

The basic Idea is leave from Kyle of lochalsh area , travel around skye, east coast of Uist ,(St kilda if weather permitting) Harris , lewis , back to the mainland around Kinlochbervie , back down the west cost ,Wild Camping All the way in tents.

As I sy its still in its planning stages as yet ,and due to weather restrictions the route may(and probibly will change nearer the time) If anyone is interested.?

What a great sounding trip! Nice pictures. Makes me wish my great grandfather never left Ireland. You guys have some great boating around those islands!

You were well ahead with the planning for the Great Scottish SIB Raid 2015 , eh Poly?
