Which hubs?

Hi Guys

I have an RM trailer for my 7.5 rib... I am not able to get down to the trailer until thursday, but I want to be able to buy new hubs / bearings before then - are there lots of different sizes or is it fairly standard?

If I need to go buy them on thursday, where can I go to get them? I know towsure sell some... but I can't think of anywhere else in southampton to buy them from

Thanks

Ben

It depends what axle you have. You really need the old ones with you to get the right parts, unless RM can tell you beforehand.

I just had the same problem looking for brake shoes for my trailer. Nobody knew without the drums off and the shoes in their hand.

Okay, I will try and squeeze some time in to go down and get one off before thursday... thought it would not as easy as being standard!

Thanks

phone 'em before you go to the boat and find what they need to know to supply the right bits. From memory I think the last lot I replaced they wanted some specific measurements from the hub to source the right bits.
b****y brakes on a boat trailer for use in salt water-hate'em all that mild steel--- or rather rust that used to be......
