Electric Winch

OK, the nice people at tool time are going to swap the winch over for a working model.
All I need now is to fix the buggered injectors and source a new transducer for the garmin and I will be back to square 1.
or is that square-1?!

Sorry to read of your troubles diverdad.
I`m still using the original electric winch although the 6mm wire it came fitted with has gone a bit crippled now, I may replace it with 8mm dyneema(which will actually cost more than the winch did!)
I should say that I have only pulled my Pacific onto the trailer on a relatively shallow slipway, but it is an old-school trailer with hard rubber rollers(none of yer Rollercoasters here) and it manages it ok and it`s better than hand-cranking after a days diving.
Persevere, old son!

Hi I have a C8000EWX from winch solutions and use a stainless roller fairlead with 11 mm PLASMA 12 Synthetic Rope + wireless remote so you can walk around the boat as you recover to check it's ok

Have a look here
