RIBase
Appears to be a 1000kg axle so unless it's unbraked yes, if there's nothing else there to show MAM I suspect that's what VOSA would use.

As Pete says, Luke, that's just the coupling info', rather than it pertaining to the trailer, particularly.

There should be a chassis / VIN plate on the trailer, usually riveted to the n/s of the drawbar.

Had a look for a plate but can't find one!? Bit worrying...

Is there another way to find out what it is?

It looks like a sbs r2/1000b but not sure.

Is the axle marked? What about wheel markings.

Didn't look there! Will see tomorrow

Looking at the sbs website this is the only one that looks like mine. Has the same roller and bunk setup and is roughly the same length.

Which means I have finally worked out I am towing the boat within my licence!

Quick tip from VOSA.. If there isnt a plate on the trailer, we will go by the maximum weight stamped on the tyres!

No worries Luke. also, if there is a plate saying weights etc and your heavier than the rated weight on your tyres, you will be done for that. Thats an easy mistake to make when buying new tyres. crafty foxes, VOSA..
