What brake shoes for Rapide trailer?

Does anyone know what brake shoes are fitted to a Rapide R2B49?

I don't fancy trying to get through to Mersea Trailers given their feedback on here recently and taking the wheels off to check and take the shoes in to a trailer centre match them up isn't really feasable due to various factors.

I really don't want to have to take it in to my local trailer centre as they took far too many shortcuts last time they were let near it.

You'll have to check the axle, as Rapide trailers have been fitted with different types. I have an unbraked Rapide on an ALKO axle with 'sealed' bearings, but I've also seen Rapide trailers with Avonride axles.

If you/someone can get the serial number of the axle, that should do it for you.

Cheers Dai.

Sorted now-new shoes and cables fitted. It's on an Avonride axle, and uses Knott brake shoes for anyone else who's got the same model.
