Fair enough but could you warrant the cost? for a 24' boat with 3.5T gross:
Widest Trailer - 24,4 length boat;
20 rollers and 6 double keel rollers - which isn't much for a 24' boat;
v-frame guide (instead of SBS and Snipe swing beam);
Large 95cm Winch post;
3.5T Manual winch;
2 x 1800 axels with drum brakes.

All of this comes in at £8584 inc. VAT
Equivalent SBS - roughly £5100 inc. VAT
Equivalent Snipe - roughly £4950 inc. VAT

Is it really worth it?

as are mine, which means you can see the state of the oil at a glance at any time - so rather than maintenance free it might be better to say incredibly easy to keep an eye on rather than the usual blind hope. I've read other people worried about the plastic cover getting bumped - I think you'd have to be quite unlucky but its probably possible to engineer a protective cover.

I think trucks and busses often use something similar here.

The South London Trailer Centre would wish to clarify that they don't believe Edges is making a fair comparison between the three products above and that they also offer products closer in spec to the competitors highlighted in that ball park price and the higher priced trailer mentioned above has a number of features not found on other commercially available trailers.

Perhaps if one of you folk buy a trailer from them you will mention RIBnet when doing so and they will recognise the potential value of trade membership!
