Can trailer tek help you out? Should be going there over the weekend for my U bolts.

I was going to offer to make you some special washers out of 316, but 70 I think that'll take me all day to part them off

What's wrong with using stainless with galvanizing?

Kind of you to think about offering, but I wouldn't have let you make 70!

Its only really the split pins I'm missing now and I'm not sure Trailertek would have them, they are a good company though.
The Roll pins should be in stock at Cromwells opposite work, and I'll be getting a length of Silver steel so I can make a punch to remove the remains of the old split pins.

Split Pins

Do you have any Agricultural Engineers near you? When I need to replace split pins on trailer rollers for customers I get them from our local Agricultural engineers they have them in stock as farmers use a lot of them on agricultural equipment.

Thanks Richard - Good tip
unfortunately I already brought some this afternoon.
4mm x 65mm Stainless steel that I'll need to cut down
70 off were 28

Found them in a little known Engineers suppliers in Pompey - Touts.

I've been offered some Lazer cut Washers in 2mm 316 SS at 1ea if I buy 250.
Anybody want some?

Nasher.

If you use stainless with galvanised the zinc will protect the stainless and erode more quickly than it otherwise would. This will leave the base steel exposed and open to corrode.

It shouldn't be a structural issue but you will get some rust streaks / staining.

Often seen where a galvanised anchor and chain have been joined with a stainless shackle. Would have been better, and cheaper, to use a galvanised shackle.
