Trailer repaint - Galvafroid?
I am going to repaint my steel trailer. It's not galvanised.
Do you recommend Galvafroid primer and then Polyurethane two componet coating?
Or you would recommend something else?
Thank you for your advices...

I would think galvafroid on its own if anything. Not sure about getting 2-pack paints to stick to cold galvanising. IIRC you need to use acrylic based paint on any fresh galvanised metal or you have to start using etch primers.

)

Galv trailer
just strip the trailer down and take it to the nearest galvaniser
you will find them in the yellow pages
job done no need to paint after

Ha ha, if only. No such luxury in this locale (at least not without a sea crossing and associated freight costs
)

I'd go for galvafroid then a coat of smoothrite. No point spending money on expensive two packs, although galvafroid isn't cheap

coat of smoothrite - Where do you think I would be able to buy it: B&Q or Norman's?
