Anyone know where I can get Galvanised mudguards with the step either side for a single axle trailer?

You mean fenders? Any trailer shop, I'd think...

John

Sure I have a link on my PC at home that will be able to help.
Unfortunately I'm unlikely to be home before @9:30pm so will look then.

Do you have any dimentions?

Nasher.

Cheers Nasher
Not sure on the dimensions. It's got 13 inch wheels and I think they come in standard sizes? .....well it's the trailer you used for the canoes. Got a good memory?

The one below?

I'd forgotten they were bent.

I have access to the mudguards in the third pic, but they don't have the step. Do you want me to get you a price anyway?

Sounds like cross-Atlantic confusion.

http://www.championtrailers.com/FEND...galvanized.htm

As far as I've seen, the galvanised ones do not have steps.

My trailer has a pair of galv fenders, but they mount to a couple of brackets (per side) that form a step surface. Sort of like the middle ones here, but for a single axle:

The steps are seperate bits that also act as brackets to mount the mudguards/Fenders.

They do bend very easily if you cut a corner with the trailer and bash them on something.

John...my trailer has steps on the mudguards but as they're inboard of the tubes they're next to useless for getting in and out the boat.

May sure they'll be of practical use before shedding a load of dosh

Thanks for all the help lads. Been trying to reply to this all day but got called away each time.
I thought the steps where part of the guard? If not then I could just get just the mud guard. Could you get me a price please Nasher old bean?

Sorry Mate, Can't get them cheaper than TrailerTeks £19.95.

Suggest you use them if possible, but the postage will be a bit much.
