Fenlander yeah, I'm only 5 minutes walk from the sea, or rather the mud! The sea makes a couple of cameo appearances for a couple of hours twice a day and if you're lucky these coincide with :-
it's during daylight
it's not pouring down
not having to do anything else
and so on!
So the boat has to be ready to go at the drop of a hat therefore stay inflated.
I might change the boat down the track so I'll bear you comments in mind.

Sorry you've got a long drive to the sea.

Oh you do need to be ready to go then. When we look for holiday cottages adj the water in the Devon/Cornwall area first thing is to get the charts out and see if that idyllic photo of water lapping at the front garden wall is maintained for a usable period of time.
