Trailer

Hello,

I know this has probably been asked before but I am a bit thick and would ideally prefer as simple yes know answer, instead of having to trawl through loads of rules and regs, and yes I have tried the faq section.

I have Land Rover Discovery, can I tow a rib 8.5m in length and 2.88m beam.

I thank for you patience

Well yes.... and no... If it's your own boat and the trailer sizes and overhangs fall within limits mentioned in various threads then, yes... if it's in connection with business or for hire or reward then you need a tacho fitted to your Disco.. all assuming that you have the right endorsments on your driving license and the weights are OK...

Guys have another trailer related question for you all.

Currently i have a Hallmark Roller coaster unbreaked trailer, problem is i keep losing the grease hub caps off the centre of the hub, and to add i've had trouble replacing these, does anyone know an alternative to the plastic caps other than bearing savers or does anyone know where i can buy the correct fitting plastics caps to replace them when i loose them.

Thanks

Can't say much at the moment, I am still in delicate negotiations with my financial controller.
