Yeh it ain't cheap which ever way you do it but best at campsite the campsite usually has a tractor or just ask someone to launch you seen loads do it for others
Most towns have visitor moorings most are free some at a cost
Salo is my fav Malcesine is a good one in the marina Desenzano also ok sirmionie is no good ok just for drop off Peschiera also ok at cost

Dover - Dunkirk then a night in Koblenz giving us a day on the Rhine / Mosel then a night in Austria then down to Lake garda over the Bremmer pass, no Toll roads except for the last bit

towing with cover

Sound we bomb it down in 2 days from Zeebrugge do an over night near Munich going down then get there for mid aft
Top top on the toll in Italy go to an unmanned booth and you don't have to pay for trailer

Do the Italians charge for trailers? Boat trailers are free in France, which is a surprise

I think you are correct and it is height restricted :-) - though some of the auto booths do pass me as Classe 1
